Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — and to track usage patterns to improve the service.
FluxDiagram uses a minimal set of cookies, described below. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your browsing data to third parties.
2. Essential Cookies (Always Active)
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core features of FluxDiagram. No consent is required for essential cookies because they are required to deliver the service you have requested.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-access-token | Supabase | Authenticates your session with the FluxDiagram backend | 1 hour |
sb-refresh-token | Supabase | Keeps you logged in by refreshing your authentication session | 60 days |
__Host-next-auth | Next.js / FluxDiagram | Maintains your login state across page navigations | Session |
3. Analytics Cookies (Optional — Opt-Out Available)
We use PostHog to understand how users interact with FluxDiagram — which features are used, where users encounter friction, and how the service is performing. This data is collected in a pseudonymous form and is not linked to your email address in PostHog's data store.
Analytics cookies are loaded only after you consent (via the cookie consent banner on first visit, where applicable to your jurisdiction). You can opt out at any time (see Section 5 below).
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ph_distinct_id | PostHog | Identifies a unique anonymous visitor for analytics event tracking | 12 months |
ph_session_id | PostHog | Groups events within a single browsing session | Session |
PostHog is configured to respect Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. PostHog may set additional technical cookies; see posthog.com/privacy for their complete cookie list.
4. No Advertising Cookies
FluxDiagram does not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking for advertising purposes. We do not work with advertising networks. No data collected through cookies on FluxDiagram is used to serve you ads elsewhere on the web.
5. How to Manage Cookies
Browser settings: You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. However, blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using FluxDiagram. Below are links to cookie management instructions for common browsers:
Opt out of PostHog analytics:You can opt out of PostHog analytics tracking by clicking the "Opt out of analytics" link in your account Settings page, or by enabling the Do Not Track signal in your browser. Opting out sets a cookie that instructs PostHog not to track your activity.
GDPR consent:If you are located in the EU/EEA or UK, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner on your first visit. Analytics cookies are not loaded until you give your consent. You can change your consent preferences at any time from the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer.
6. Local Storage and Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, FluxDiagram may use browser local storage to save your preferences (e.g., UI state, draft inputs) locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers and is not used for tracking purposes.
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or to comply with legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of FluxDiagram after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
