Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the FluxDiagram platform and all associated services. By using FluxDiagram, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
FluxDiagram is a tool for generating animated visuals for professional presentations. The service is intended for lawful, legitimate business and personal use. Any use that undermines the integrity, safety, or availability of the platform is strictly prohibited.
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, report it to legal@fluxdiagram.com.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use FluxDiagram to generate, distribute, or facilitate animated visuals or content that:
- Is illegal: Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation, including export control laws.
- Involves child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Any content that sexually exploits minors is absolutely prohibited. FluxDiagram will report such content to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.
- Is harassing or threatening: Content designed to harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any individual or group, including targeted harassment campaigns.
- Is hateful: Content that promotes discrimination, hatred, or violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Is deceptive or misleading: Content intentionally designed to deceive viewers into believing false information, including manipulated data visualizations presented as factual.
- Constitutes deepfakes or synthetic media of real people: Using FluxDiagram to create animated visuals that falsely depict real, identifiable individuals without their consent — particularly in a defamatory, sexual, or misleading context — is prohibited.
- Infringes third-party intellectual property: Reproducing copyrighted logos, trademarks, brand elements, artwork, or other protected material in your outputs without authorization.
- Is spam or unsolicited commercial communication: Using FluxDiagram-generated content for bulk unsolicited marketing, phishing, or social engineering campaigns.
- Constitutes malware or harmful code: Attempting to embed malicious code within animated visuals or using the platform to deliver malware.
3. Prohibited Platform Use
You may not use FluxDiagram in ways that harm the platform, other users, or third parties, including:
- Free tier abuse: Creating multiple free accounts, using automation to generate animations under free accounts, or otherwise circumventing Free tier limits. Each person or legal entity may maintain only one free account.
- Scraping or automated access: Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to access the FluxDiagram web interface or API in ways that exceed normal use or violate rate limits, except where expressly permitted by a signed API agreement.
- Reverse engineering: Attempting to decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise derive the source code, algorithms, or trade secrets underlying the FluxDiagram platform or its AI pipelines.
- Unauthorized API resale: Reselling or sublicensing FluxDiagram API access to third parties without a separate written reseller agreement with FluxDiagram.
- Security testing without authorization: Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of our systems without express written authorization from FluxDiagram.
- Denial of service attacks: Any act designed to degrade or disrupt the availability of FluxDiagram services.
- Credential sharing:Sharing account credentials or API keys with unauthorized parties, or using another person's account without authorization.
- Watermark removal without authorization: Removing, obscuring, or modifying FluxDiagram watermarks on Free tier outputs without a paid subscription.
4. Responsible Use of AI-Generated Outputs
Animated visuals generated by FluxDiagram are AI-generated content. You are responsible for how you use your Outputs, including:
- Ensuring data visualizations accurately represent the underlying data when presented to audiences.
- Not presenting AI-generated animated visuals as manually designed or otherwise misrepresenting their origin where such misrepresentation would be material.
- Complying with your organization's policies regarding AI-generated content in professional presentations.
5. Enforcement
FluxDiagram reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and to take appropriate action, including:
- Warning or suspending your account pending investigation
- Permanently terminating your account and banning future registration
- Removing or disabling access to specific Outputs
- Reporting violations to law enforcement or relevant authorities
- Pursuing legal remedies for damages caused by violations
We aim to apply this AUP consistently and proportionately. Where possible, we will provide notice before taking enforcement action, unless immediate action is necessary to protect the safety of the platform or its users.
6. Reporting Violations
To report suspected violations of this AUP, please contact legal@fluxdiagram.com with a description of the violation and any relevant evidence. We review all reports and respond within 5 business days.
